Government Commissions
The government grants commissions for art in public places, artwork in government buildings, and art in non-profit organizations. A percentage arrangement stipulates that 0.5–2% of building costs for new government buildings must be spent on artwork. This is administered by provincial and local Centers for the Visual Arts (CBK). Advisers select artists through advertisements, directed requests, or by reputation.

The largest share of commissions comes from the private sector in both numbers and volume.
