About
About the Opportunity
WHAM Art Center invites artists of all backgrounds and experience levels to submit work for Through the Looking Glass, an exhibition celebrating creativity, interpretation, and the many ways we see the world. This exhibition encourages artists to look beyond the obvious and explore perspective in all its forms—literal, emotional, symbolic, or imagined. Works may reflect personal experiences, dreams, memories, storytelling, abstraction, or alternative viewpoints. Artists are invited to interpret the theme freely and in whatever way feels meaningful to their practice. We welcome artwork that explores ideas such as perception, reflection, transformation, imagination, and the unexpected. Submissions may be realistic, abstract, conceptual, whimsical, or experimental. All interpretations are encouraged, and there is no single correct way to respond to the theme.
Media Accepted
All media are welcome, including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography, fiber arts, printmaking, mixed media, and more.
