Overview
Rocket Grants award up to $6,000 to individuals and groups of artists for projects that exist outside of established institutions. The program encourages inventive, under-the-radar, and public-facing work in non-traditional spaces. Artists are encouraged to address the community at large, address the arts community, or choose a smaller, targeted audience. The program also supports proposals from artists or groups interested in expanding their studio practice in new ways and developing new audiences.
Eligibility
Awards are provided to artists living within an 80 mile radius of metropolitan Kansas City.
