Overview
The 52nd annual Mainsail Art Festival celebrates fine arts and fine crafts at Vinoy Park waterfront in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Mainsail is ranked #14 of the top 200 fine art festivals in the country by Sunshine Artist Magazine. The festival draws over 100,000 visitors annually and features more than 250 accomplished artists.

Application & Deadlines
- Applications available through ZAPP on October 1, 2026
- Applications must be submitted by midnight (P.S.T.) December 1, 2026
- Jurors review submissions on December 11, 2026
- Notifications sent by beginning of January 2027
- Last day for accepted artists to pay booth fee: February 1, 2027
- Last day to withdraw with refund: February 1, 2027
Fees
- Jury fee: $35 (non-refundable; submit with application by December 1, 2026)
- Single exhibition booth fee: $425 (non-refundable after February 1, 2027)
- Double exhibition booth fee: $950 (non-refundable after February 1, 2027; limited availability)

- Best of Mainsail Gold Award (1): $10,000
- Mainsail Silver Award (1): $5,000
- Mainsail Bronze Awards (2): $2,500 each
- Awards of Excellence (10): $1,500 each
- Awards of Distinction (15): $1,000 each
- Awards of Merit (20): $500 each
- Purchase Awards (10): $200 each
Eligibility & Requirements
- Minimum 3 images required to apply
- Artists may apply in a maximum of two categories (one entry per category); work in each category must be substantially different in medium and technique
- Co-artists allowed (one only); must work together to produce a single product and be present at all times during the festival
Jury Process & Rules
- Judging anticipated to be completed by end of Saturday
- In case of inclement weather, judging may be delayed
Tax Responsibility
Each artist is responsible for collecting and remitting Florida state sales tax (7%) to the Florida Department of Revenue. For additional information, call 1-800-352-3671.

- $60,000 in prize money including Best of Mainsail Gold Award ($10,000), Mainsail Silver Award ($5,000), Mainsail Bronze Awards (2 x $2,500), Awards of Excellence (10 x $1,500), Awards of Distinction (15 x $1,000), Awards of Merit (20 x $500), and Purchase Awards (10 x $200)
