The project involves an envelope of 8,000 EUR for the entire project, which funds artistic fees, production, travel, accommodation, and educational interventions. Artists should calculate their actual remuneration after deducting expenses. For a collective, this envelope is shared among all participants. The residency combines creation and mediation, with an indicative time distribution: 10% immersion and discovery of the territory, 70% artistic research and creation, 15% workshops and mediation with students, and 5% project restitution. Significant production constraints include artworks being easily transportable, usable in various locations, maintenance-free, and made from environmentally friendly materials. An educational experience is expected, and the professional dossier and portfolio should present concrete references of mediation and public engagement. Although artists retain ownership of their works, a free and non-exclusive assignment of rights for certain non-commercial uses by the Department and its partners is stipulated in a separate contract.
