Blue Line Arts presents the 30x30 challenge: create 30 artworks in just 30 days. This annual challenge pushes artists to refine and redefine their work. We will notify selected artists before they begin the 30 days of making. To enter, submit 3 samples of your existing artwork reflecting the kind of work you intend to explore during the challenge. Do not make the 30 artworks before you are notified of your selection.

  • Application deadline: September 4th, 2026 by 5:00pm PST
  • Notifications: September 18th, 2026 by 5pm PST
  • Shipping deadline: October 31st, 2026
  • Hand delivery dates: November 15th and 16th, 10am-3pm
  • Show dates: November 24th - December 19th, 2026
  • Reception: Saturday December 19th, 2026
  • Pick up unsold work: December 20th and 21st, 10am-3pm

Open to artists everywhere, 18 years or older. All artwork must be original and completed within the last 2 years. Artwork cannot have been previously exhibited at Blue Line Arts. All artwork must be individually for sale. No accepted entry may be withdrawn or sold outside of the exhibition prior to the closing date.

Submit 3 to 10 images of your existing artwork samples. Include an artist statement with your plans for the 30 artworks (required). Images must be JPG format, between 1mb and 3mb in size, with a minimum of 1200 px on one side. Name files as: Artist Name-Artwork Title.jpg.

All individual artworks must be precisely 6" x 6". 3D work must not extend more than 6" from the wall. All artworks must be able to be securely mounted to the wall with no pedestals. Command strips and temporary hanging hardware will not be accepted for 3D artworks. Artwork must be able to enter through gallery doors with clearance of 94"h x 91"w. Nothing over 60 lbs will be accepted.

  • Non-member artists receive 50% commission from gallery sales
  • Member artists receive 60% commission from gallery sales

The artist is responsible for paying for all shipping and should have a prepaid label from FedEx or UPS (No US Mail) for return of artwork. All shipped work will be shipped back within 2 weeks of the show's closing date. Artwork that is shipped may be picked up, however artwork that is dropped off MUST be picked up by hand.
