Overview

The Buckhead Handmade Holiday Market is a two-day outdoor arts festival located in Buckhead, Atlanta, one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the metro area with an enthusiastic art-buying community. The festival features approximately 100 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalwork artists, glass artists, jewelers, and more, with artist demonstrations and live acoustic music.

Buckhead Village - 3035 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, Georgia. Outdoor festival with free parking available at the event site and on-street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.

• 2-D Mixed Media (collage, papermaking, encaustic, pen and ink, paint, pencil, watercolor, photography)

• Ceramics (earthenware, porcelain, raku)
• Digital Art (computer-manipulated images)
• Drawing & Printmaking (pen, pencil, charcoal, pastels, chalk, pulled plates, linoleum, etching, engraving, silkscreen, lithography)
• Edibles (handmade, pre-packaged items)
• Fiber (basketry, batik, weaving, knitting, quilting)
• Glass (blown, fused, stained, cast, molded)
• Handicraft (handmade items from manufactured, recycled, or repurposed materials)
• Jewelry (crafted from metal, glass, stone, clay; at least 50% of organic materials must be artist-produced)
• Metal (functional and non-sculptural works)

• Photography (prints, transparencies, or digital images from artist's original negative or digital camera)

Application Requirements & Fees

Minimum 4 images required to apply. Non-refundable Administrative Processing Fee: $30. Late applications may be accepted at the discretion of the Director and included on the Wait List.

Artist Amenities & Support

• Water provided on Saturday and Sunday
• Booth Sitters available during event hours upon request
• Designated Festival Hotline available during event hours for assistance and emergencies
• Saturday morning load-in only (drive to spot)
• 24-hour on-site security
• Free parking at event site

Wait List & No-Show Policy

A waitlist will be maintained. Selected wait-listed artists may be contacted when the waitlist is released before the event date. Artists who have not checked in and/or called the Festival Emergency Number by Saturday at 8:00 a.m. will be considered a no-show. No-show artists are not eligible for refunds, and assigned space will be forfeited to a wait-list artist.

Rain or Shine & Sales Tax

The event will take place rain or shine with no rain date. Fees will not be refunded in case of inclement weather. Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting sales taxes. The current sales tax rate is 8.25%.
