All work must be handmade by the exhibiting artist or no more than three people total. Buy-sell items are prohibited. All products must be original and handmade—no mass-produced, machine-made, imported, or machine-line work is permitted. The artist must be present during the entire show. Category-specific rules apply (e.g., ceramics molds must be artist-created; fiber work cannot use machine tooling or screened patterns; certain wearables and food items have additional requirements).

All applications undergo a blind jury process. The jury sees only the applicant's photos, image descriptions, and artist statement. Jury scores are not released, and all jury decisions are final. Prior participation in the festival is appreciated and considered, but does not guarantee future acceptance.

Work must fit one of the following categories: Ceramics, Clothing, Drawing & Painting, Fiber, Furniture, Glass, Jewelry Fine, Jewelry Ornamental, Leather, Metal Work, Mixed Media, Musical, Other, Paper, Pet, Photography, Pre-packaged Food, Printmaking, Sculpture, Textiles Non-Clothing, Toys, Upcycled/Creative Reuse, Wax, Wellbeing, or Wood. See category descriptions for specific material and design requirements.

Booth spaces are purchased on a first-come, first-serve basis after invitations are released. Spaces are limited by artist category, with corners and doubles usually selling out first. Special Location Requests (available to invited artists who pay for their booth) receive priority placement. Once spaces sell out, artists may be placed on the Waitlist. Booth spaces are subject to change at the Event Director's discretion.

  • Samples must arrive by the submission deadline at: Fourth Avenue Merchants Association, 434 East Ninth Street, Tucson, Arizona 85705
