Get matched →The Anderson Center, located at the historic Tower View estate in Red Wing, Minnesota, offers private time and space to artists, writers, and scholars. Situated on 330 acres near the picturesque bluffs of the Mississippi River, it is the largest artist community in Minnesota and the second largest in the Upper Midwest.
Each year, from May through October, the Center makes available residencies for approximately 45 artists, writers, and scholars from the United States and abroad. Residencies include meals and lodging at the Center and last from two weeks to one month. Resident-fellows are expected to work on a clearly defined project and to make a substantive contribution to the community in the form of a talk, class, or performance of their work.
