Get matched →This juried group exhibition invites Pacific Northwest artists to submit original 2D and 3D work exploring food in all its dimensions: culture, family, connection, creativity, recipes, ritual, aesthetics, agriculture, nutrition, nostalgia, evolution, insecurity, comfort, and entertainment.
Open to all artists living and working in the Pacific Northwest.
2D and 3D work including painting, drawing, sculpture, furniture, printmaking, fiber, glass, photography, video, and installation proposals are encouraged. Work must be original, designed and made by the artist (no kits, pre-designed patterns, commercially available molds, or AI-generated work). Out of respect for those facing food insecurity, the center discourages work made of food.
Upload one image for each piece entered at schack2027food.artcall.org. You may submit up to 6 pieces per artist (referred to as 6 "applications"). All submitted artwork must be for sale, available for the full duration of the exhibition, and not previously shown at Schack Art Center. Do not submit NFS work. All work must be delivered gallery ready; 2D work should be framed if appropriate and wired to hang quickly. Artists (or an assistant) must be available for stated delivery and pickup dates and times.
