Argo Studios offers a multidisciplinary artist and writer's residency in Athens, Greece, providing time and space to develop your practice in a social, supportive, and stimulating environment with a focus on process, not products. Open to artists, writers, performers, musicians, scholars, and any other creative discipline.

Every resident has a dedicated workspace in Argo Studios in the activist neighborhood of Exarcheia, above the weekly outdoor fruit and vegetable market. Accommodation is provided in a spacious shared apartment near a bustling city square, full of local tavernas and cafes. The location offers a short walk to amazing museums, dozens of contemporary art galleries, project spaces and performance venues, and a vibrant nightlife and queer scene.

The standard price is €65 per night for a private bedroom, or €50 per night for a shared room, coming out to approximately €1,950 or €1,500 per month. One deluxe en suite bedroom with private bathroom is available at a higher cost. Application fee is free. Budget €100–€300 per week for food and travel expenses (not included).

Entry fee
