Opportunity Overview
The City of Highland Park seeks a qualified experienced artist or artist-led team to design, fabricate, and install a permanent outdoor sculpture at Port Clinton within the Central Business District. The artwork will serve as a Place of Remembrance honoring the seven victims of the July 4, 2022 Highland Park shooting and those whose lives were forever changed, creating a space for reflection, remembrance, and solace while honoring the community's resilient spirit.

Application Requirements
This is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ), not a design competition. Artists should not submit fully developed design proposals at this stage. The City seeks to evaluate professional qualifications, experience, and approach prior to advancing to concept development. Fully developed designs or concept drawings will not be reviewed and may disqualify applicants.
