Overview
The 2023 Res Artis conference, Mind the Gap: Designing residencies for everyone, brings together over 200 artists, residency providers, and cultural mobility experts in London for the 30th anniversary of Res Artis and 50th anniversary of Acme. Taking place both in person and online, the conference will explore post-pandemic challenges and co-creation as solutions to shared obstacles in the residency sector.

Conference Themes
- Power, access and diversity: Redressing imbalance and power disparities between artists and providers; exploring access and diversity internationally; residency opportunities for specific needs; navigating conflict; ensuring well-being.
- Working in partnership and co-creation: Building trust and maintaining relationships; working in networks; communication in the networked age; opportunities and challenges of co-creation; accessing artist opportunities.
What We're Seeking
Case studies, workshop proposals, PechaKucha-style presentations, and panelist nominations from individuals and organisations. We are aiming for a rich variety of speakers from different perspectives and experiences to explore the conference's main themes.
Eligibility
Individual submissions and those from organisations of all sizes and locations are welcome. Submissions from all disciplines are welcomed.
