Overview
A 2-week printmaking residency in Patagonia during the southern hemisphere summer, offering long bright days and access to a fully equipped studio. Choose between Guided Training (for beginners or those specializing), Technical Research in non-toxic printmaking, or Self-Directed practice. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to engage with the local community through talks, exhibitions, or workshops.

- Duration: 2 weeks (13 nights), Sunday to Friday
- Location: Patagonia, Argentina

- Accommodation: Private room with double bed, kitchen, hot water, refrigerator, washing machine, Wi-Fi, free parking. Sheets, towels, and basic kitchen items provided.
Printmaking Techniques Available
- Relief print, monotypes, white embossing
- Etching and aquatint on metal plate
- Mokuhanga (Japanese woodblock)
- Linocut and polychrome variants
- Lithography (polyester, offset, recycled aluminum)

- Tetra pack and green engraving

Studio Equipment
Intaglio press with 50 x 70 cm plate capacity. Materials include rollers, inks, varnishes, mordants, brushes, cutting and gluing supplies. Printing paper and plates available at cost.
Fees
- Accommodation (13 nights): $500
- Technical assistance/training: $20 per hour or $50 for 3 hours
- Printing paper and plates: at cost
- If companion takes training course: 50% of course fee
