Full Bleed showcases artists and artwork styles at the fringes of the canon through the lenses of graffiti, urban art, anime, and manga. The exhibition creates space for emerging artists to exhibit alongside established artists, support budding artistic careers, and build relationships across generations and genres. All works must be family-friendly; artwork with nudity, offensive religious or political statements, and/or violence may be juried out.

  • Opening Reception: Friday, September 25, 5:00 - 7:00 pm

Open to all Hawaii-based 2D and 3D artists in the genres of anime, manga, graffiti, or urban art.

Create a CaFÉ account and portfolio. Submit high-quality images (recommended: longest edge at 1200 pixels, sRGB, jpeg; maximum file size 5 MB). For 3D works, submit multiple photographs from different angles or a short video. Include an artist statement (max 2000 characters) and a description of each work (max 2000 characters).

  • Maximum 5 entries per artist
  • Each submission may include: up to 5 images, up to 5 audio files, up to 5 video files (total minimum 1, maximum 5 assets per submission)
  • For Kona drop-off, artwork must be less than 40" x 40" and securely wrapped
  • $20 non-refundable entry fee per submission
  • First entry free for Hawaii Students (use code: 'HIStudent')
