Get matched →The 2nd Edition Award for Cultural Collectives Managing Communities in Public Spaces seeks to recognize and support cultural collectives and groups with a proven history of managing vacant public spaces in São Paulo. The program promotes culture as a principal agent of social transformation in peripheral territories, districts, and areas with high indices of social vulnerability.
Cultural collectives, groups, and communities with a documented history of managing vacant or underutilized public spaces in São Paulo, promoting cultural and artistic production that gives new meaning to these spaces while ensuring their social function.
Maximum of 33 cultural collectives will be selected. Each selected collective receives R$ 30.000 for the development of cultural actions.
Each cultural collective may submit one project requesting financial support for the development of cultural actions.
