For twenty years, these art projects have engaged a broad, regional public and invited them to be an active part of the art scene. Real-life themes in the DA and the entire region provide opportunities for artistic projects, actions, and interventions, often carried out in cooperation with local businesses, associations, and schools. The DA, Kunsthaus is the first institution in Germany to showcase and promote art between participation and intervention in rural areas on an international level.
