Overview
The NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA) is the only national grant program exclusively supporting Latinx/é artists, cultural practitioners, and arts organizations based in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. For over 15 years, NALAC has distributed 884 grants representing more than $7 million to Latinx communities.
2026 Individuals and Ensembles Meet the Moment Grant
NALAC will award 20 grants of $5,000 each to fund artistic/cultural projects, initiatives, and opportunities that support individuals or ensembles in addressing public concerns and/or influencing social change. These funds are available to Latinx/é individual artists, individual cultural workers, and ensembles (defined as a group of artists working together).
2025 National Arts Partners Grants
NALAC awarded $525,000 in unrestricted organizational grants of $25,000 to twenty-one Latinx/é arts organizations across the United States, including Puerto Rico, in eleven disciplines ranging from craft and culinary arts to literary arts and film.
Funding Priorities
- Sustain the creation and presentation of works by Latinx/é artists and arts organizations
- Build the capacity of Latinx/é arts organizations and artists
- Support the creative expression of artists who exhibit a high level of artistic excellence and innovation
- Empower Latino artists and arts organizations in their efforts to promote social justice and social change through the arts
- Strengthen communities by investing in cultural assets and human and social capital of Latinx/é's in the U.S.
Eligibility
First-time applicants, returning applicants who have not received a grant, and applicants from diverse geographic areas are encouraged to apply. Funds are available to Latinx/é individual artists, individual cultural workers, and ensembles based in the United States and Puerto Rico.
