Overview
The Martin Roth Initiative supports artists and cultural actors at risk to temporarily relocate to Germany with assistance from a host cultural institution. Applications are submitted jointly by the artists/cultural actors and their host organisations.
What is provided
- Monthly scholarship for scholarship holders
- Individual support including necessary insurance, psychosocial support, language courses, trainings, and networking activities
- Financial support for additional personnel at the host organisation (excluding permanent staff and freelance work not directly related to the grant)
- Counselling by the MRI and further training on safety, sensitive public relations, and psycho-social support
- Networking activities and exchange of experience with other host organisations and scholarship holders
- Support in the visa process for scholarship holders
