Overview
Nuit Blanche Toronto 2026: Tomorrow's Memories is the 20th anniversary edition of an all-night celebration of contemporary art. From 7pm on October 3 to 7am on October 4, Toronto transforms as city spaces and neighborhoods become temporary exhibition areas. The event-wide theme looks back to the artists, curators, communities, and places that have defined Nuit Blanche over twenty years, while also reimagining the future.

Locations & Access
The event is anchored by an exhibition in downtown Toronto at and around Nathan Phillips Square, City Hall, and Old City Hall. Major Institutions and Independent Projects are located city-wide across Toronto. All participating cultural institutions, museums, galleries, and artist-run centres offer free access to their spaces.
The Theme: Tomorrow's Memories
This milestone edition reflects on where Nuit Blanche has been over twenty years, where it is now, and where it might go next. Past Nuit Blanche artworks will be revisited, re-visioned, and recontextualized, while artists' new works consider personal and collective memory and histories as tools for storytelling, reflection, and dreaming of possible futures.
Featured Artists & Projects
The downtown exhibition features re-imagined projects by artists from past years including Couzyn van Heuvelen, Shelley Niro, Kelly Mark, Brendan Fernandes, Hiba Abdallah, Rhonda Weppler and Trevor Mahovsky, R.I.S.E. Edutainment, Tangled Art + Disability, and Roda Medhat. New commissions include work by Maggy Hamel-Metsos, Brandon Vickerd, SJ Okemow, Alexandra Gelis, Francesca Nocera aka SUN SUN (curated by Witch Prophet), Marco Baldonado, ĀNANDAM/Brandy Leary, Blessyl Buan, Joseph David Providence Farrugia, Lisa Kiss & Collaborators, and more.
Access & Cost
The event is free and open to all audiences. Participating cultural institutions, museums, galleries, and artist-run centres open their doors and offer free access to their spaces.
