Overview
Artisphere 2027 marks the 23rd annual event and is ranked a TOP 10 Fine Art and Fine Craft festival by the Art Fair Sourcebook and #1 USA Today's Reader's Choice Award for Best Art Festival. The three-day outdoor festival takes place in Downtown Greenville, SC on Main Street and throughout Falls Park on the Reedy River. Artisphere is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; proceeds are used to produce the annual arts festival and distributed to local non-profit arts organizations.

Awards
$15,000 in prize money will be distributed at the festival. Awards will be given to Best in Show, 1st Place 2D, 2nd Place 2D, 1st Place 3D, 2nd Place 3D, and four Awards of Excellence. Award winners are invited to exhibit the following year and are exempt from jury. Any non-juror awards (e.g. Media Awards, People's Choice, etc.) are not exempt from jury.
Jury Process
Five jurors and a representative from the Artisphere Board of Directors jury applications in a blind process using Zapplication. The jury consists of experienced art professionals including professors, gallery owners, museum administrators, and practicing visual artists. Jurors score applications on Artistic Merit, Technical Competence, Overall Quality of Work, and Booth Presentation.
Application Requirements
Each exhibiting artist must complete an online application with a jury fee and submit five images, including one authentic booth image showing the artist's displayed work. Artists may apply in more than one medium category with separate applications for each. An artist statement of 200 characters or less describing materials and technique (not meaning or inspiration) must be submitted and will be read aloud during jury review.
Booth Image Guidelines
- Must be an actual photo of your booth with display
- May not be created in a computer program or manipulated/enhanced by a computer in any way
- May not contain artist name, company name, or affiliation (Photoshop may be used only to remove names)
- Must show representative body of work created within the last four years
- Must not include artist signage or the artist in the image
