This is an opportunity to showcase your work, reach new audiences and celebrate the creativity of local and emerging makers. Whether you’d like to exhibit your work in our gallery or sell your creations directly to the public, we’d love to hear from you!
The Bureau Centre for the Arts has a small gallery within the building, where we present a range of touring exhibitions, group shows, open calls and individual exhibitions by local and emerging artists. This Craft Exhibition will celebrate a wide range of handmade work, from traditional crafts to contemporary and experimental practices. Our aim is to create a welcoming, creative event that supports local makers, encourages new audiences to engage with craft and provides opportunities for artists and craftspeople to share their work.
Makers who would like to sell their work are invited to express their interest in having a market stall as part of the event on Saturday 28th November. Stall spaces will provide an opportunity to display and sell handmade products directly to the public. Stall availability, fees, booking arrangements and market dates will be confirmed separately. Please indicate your interest in a market stall when submitting your application.
The Bureau will take 40% commission on artwork sold through the gallery exhibition. Market stall sales will be subject to separate arrangements, which will be confirmed with stallholders before the event.
Every listing links to the organizer's official page. Always confirm deadlines, fees, and entry rules there before you apply.
The Bureau reserves the right not to accept or display any work considered unsuitable for the gallery environment or its audiences. Submitting work does not guarantee selection for the exhibition. Market stall bookings are also subject to availability and confirmation.
Artists and craftspeople. We welcome submissions from makers working across textiles, ceramics, jewellery, printmaking, woodwork, mixed media and other craft disciplines.
