Fall 2026 Residencies at the Peter Bullough FoundationWinchester, VirginiaDeadline: March 4, 2026 The PBF provides intimate, focused residencies to artists and writers, including those elevating voices and topics relevant to the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Applications are now being accepted for fall 2026 residencies to work in the private studios and enjoy the garden and former homes of Dr. Peter Bullough. Emerging artists are encouraged to apply. Each awarded residency period is four weeks long and shared with 2 other artists in residence. Each artist receives a private room and studio. Residents are awarded a $600 stipend. Artists are required to host a workshop, lecture, or event virtually or in-person while in residence. Applicants must be currently residing in the US or US citizens living abroad. This call has a $20 application fee. Apply Calls for Artist Entries: Public Exhibitions and Signature Events on the Atlanta BeltlineAtlanta, GeorgiaDeadline: March 9, 2026 Artists, cultural producers, artist collectives and organizations are invited to submit proposals that support public exhibitions and one-of-a-kind events on the Atlanta Beltline corridor during the 2026-2027 exhibition season. These activities may include artistic and cultural performances, events, exhibitions and festivals that creatively activate the Beltline corridor and engage the public for the benefit of reflecting or providing insight into a community’s history, values, and cultures. The goals of this category are to uplift projects that foster a sense of place and identity, and create a sense of belonging and pride, ultimately improving the experiences and quality of life of residents and visitors alike. Previous awarded proposals have included musical concerts, public choreography, parades, festivals, exhibitions of art, literary performances and more. Apply Artlab Editorial FellowshipOnlineDeadline: March 9, 2026 Established in 2022, Artlab Editorial, an initiative by Hyundai Artlab, has witnessed firsthand how platforms for critical art writing are essential to a thriving global art ecosystem. As part of our ambition to spark meaningful dialogue, cultivate empathy, and facilitate collaborations, Hyundai Artlab is looking to support two art writers whose texts on contemporary art exercise critical empathy. These writers should navigate the balance between care and critique, the interrogative and intuitive, the perceptive and imaginative, and engage through dialogue to deepen understanding. This Fellowship is open to art writers from anywhere in the world and at any career stage. The two selected Fellows will each receive $10,000 to produce three pieces of writing every other month for Artlab Editorial in 2026 and will be paired with one of this year’s Fellowship Advisors, Mira Dayal, and Gary Zhexi Zhang, for regular one-on-one guidance and mentorship throughout the program. Apply Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 Windgate Artist in Residence at the University of ArkansasLittle Rock, ArkansasDeadline: March 12, 2026 The Windgate Artist in Residence at UA Little Rock is a semester-long residency program open to artists, designers, and craftspeople. This residency offers the selected applicant the opportunity to create work and engage with the School of Art and Design community, as well as the greater Little Rock community. The primary goal of the residency program is to provide time to make and develop work, and the space to make it while interacting with our community. This program provides a $30,000 stipend, housing, funding for materials and travel, studio space, and access to UA Little Rock’s extensive studios. The selected artist will have 24-hour access to a private studio and specialized areas including: a Woodshop equipped with a CNC and laser cutter, Ceramics Studio, Jewelry and Metalsmithing Studio, Smithy and Foundry, Photography Studio, and a Printmaking Studio. Artists will interact with students through weekly open studio hours, studio visits, and in-class activities (artists will not be required to teach courses). The Artist in Residence will give an artist talk at the Windgate Center of Art + Design and the Arkansas Museum of Fine Art. Participating artists give one work of art to be added to the Permanent Collection at UA Little Rock. Apply Call for Artist Entries: 2026 National Photography Awards, National Council on AgingArlington, VirginiaDeadline: March 15, 2026 The National Council on Aging (NCOA) invites photographers to showcase adults aged 60+ thriving through family, friendship, and community. Celebrate empowered individuals, supportive families, and the vibrant connections that bring joy, purpose, and vitality—demonstrating that aging well means staying active, engaged, and connected. THE NCOA will grant the following awards: $1,000 for the First Place Award, $600 for the Second Place Award, $500 for the Public Vote Award, eight $300 Merit Awards, and ten $150 Honorable Awards. All selected artworks will appear on the virtual ncoaGallery.org website. In addition, 20 award-winning photographs will be printed on high-quality, large-format canvas for presentation in the onsite exhibition at NCOA 2026 Age+Action Conference in Arlington, Virginia; showcased in multiple art galleries throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area; and proudly included in the permanent collection at NCOA’s headquarters in Crystal City, Virginia.
