Open to individual artists, collectives, and arts and culture organizations based in the United States. Individuals and collectives must have a confirmed Fiscal Sponsor classified as a public charity under IRC 501(c)(3). Projects must execute in Downtown San Francisco neighborhoods (Chinatown, Civic Center, Financial District, Mid-Market, Mission Bay, SoMA, Tenderloin, Union Square).
Grant amounts range from $10,000 to $100,000 based on project description and budget. Projects must be completed within one year of grant distribution and cannot be completed prior to that date.
The Grant Selection Committee prioritizes projects that demonstrate strong potential to attract families, students, and/or young professionals to Downtown San Francisco through arts and culture; are completed quickly; demonstrate synergy with other revitalization efforts; and engage networks and collaborations that support success.
