Funding Amount

Criteria

• Professionalism: The Department of Culture exclusively supports professional cultural creation in the fields of Performing Arts, Film Culture, Literature, Music, and Visual Arts.
• Connection to the City of Zurich: The application must demonstrate a connection to the City of Zurich.
• Electronic Submission: Applications are only accepted in electronic form.
• Language: Applications and necessary documents can be submitted in German or English. The application process is conducted in German.
• Complete and Timely: The application must be complete and submitted on time.

Exclusion Criteria

• Individuals or groups simultaneously receiving funding for the same purpose from a Zurich co-production institution (Gessnerallee, Tanzhaus, Fabriktheater Rote Fabrik, or Zürcher Theater Spektakel).
• Individuals or groups simultaneously receiving a production contribution or a contribution for the development of groups in the performing arts for children and young people from the Department of Culture for the same purpose.
• Individuals or groups simultaneously receiving other funding from the City of Zurich (e.g., Social Department) for the same purpose.
• Individuals or groups primarily working for profit.
