Overview
LiTE-HAUS Artist Residency in Berlin is a self-guided 3-week intensive program offering visual artists workspace, mentorship, practical insights into non-profit gallery operations, and networking opportunities with local Berlin professionals. The program culminates in a curated group exhibition alongside local Berlin-based artists. All programming is conducted in English.
Program Details
Participants receive access to dedicated workstations within LiTE-HAUS or self-guided off-site arrangements, professional critiques, team leadership guidance, and curated introductions to Berlin art professionals. On-site accommodation options include private live/work studio rooms (converted to exhibition spaces at term's end) with shared kitchen and bath.
Eligibility
Open to creators of all ages and experience levels, from current art students to established professionals. Open unconditionally to local Berlin residents, national German artists, and international artists globally. All mentorship, critiques, and program communications are conducted in English.
Media & Disciplines
The call accepts all visual art forms and disciplines: Painting, Drawing, Photography, Sculpture, Installation, Mixed Media, Video, and Interdisciplinary Arts.
Fees & Costs
- Berlin Local Artists: €600 EUR (€300 non-refundable deposit due October 2)
- International / Non-Local Artists (No Lodging): €800 EUR (€400 non-refundable deposit due October 2)
- International Artists (With On-Site Lodging): €1,800 EUR (€900 non-refundable deposit due October 2)
- Final fee balances due by October 26, 2026
- Travel and daily living expenses remain the artist's responsibility
