About

Overview

A self-directed artist residency program welcoming visual artists, musicians, writers, architects, clay artists, performers, and other makers. The residency provides access to multiple studio spaces across a 230-acre campus including a natural park, with full freedom to explore and experiment. Artists are invited to participate in weekly open critique sessions, workshops, and exhibitions within the ArteSumapaz community and nearby towns.

Expectations

Each artist determines how to spend their time. Residents must clean their own plate after meals. Weekly open critique sessions, workshops, and exhibitions are cordially invited but optional. One mandatory weekly community meeting at lunch. All residents must respect community and house guidelines.
