Ampersand Art Rentals & Sales Program – Call for Artists — BC Alliance for Arts + Culture

Overview

The Langley Arts Council invites emerging, mid-career, and established artists to apply to the Ampersand Art Rentals & Sales Program. Ampersand connects original artwork with businesses, designers, public spaces, and other clients seeking artwork for rent or purchase. Accepted works are represented through the program's online catalogue and may be selected for rental, purchase, curated partner installations, and in-person exhibitions, including rotating exhibitions at the Langley Arts Council's Civic Gallery.

Program Goals

The program is designed to create professional opportunities for artists, expand the visibility of original artwork, and connect artists with new audiences and collectors.

Key Dates

• Application deadline: September 30, 2026
• Accepted artworks are contracted to the program for a minimum of one calendar year

How to Apply

Artists can review the full submission guidelines and complete the online application through the Langley Arts Council website. Submitted artwork is reviewed through the Langley Arts Council's jurying process.

Fees & Compensation

• No application fee
• Accepted artists have the opportunity to earn income through artwork rentals and sales
• Rental and sales payments are administered according to the Ampersand Art Rentals & Sales Program artist agreement
