Overview
BOAPS – Fall 2026 is the 3rd seasonal international open art opportunity presented by Biafarin, offering visual artists worldwide the chance to gain global exposure and receive cash grants. Open to emerging and established artists working in all visual media on any subject, selected artists will benefit from cash grants, curated international exhibitions, global promotion, publication, sales opportunities, and lifetime artist profiles on the Biafarin platform.

Open to visual artists worldwide working in any 2D or 3D medium at all career stages.
Media & Submission Requirements
Submit 1–10 images of artwork in abstract or representational form, in any 2D or 3D visual medium. Artworks may address any subject, with suggested themes including portraiture, human emotion, social challenges, animals, botanicals, nature, landscapes, cityscapes, environmental issues, surrealism, still life, and abstract expressions.
Awards & Benefits
- Cash Grants: CAD 2500 total – Major Grant CAD 500 (1 artist); Merit Grant CAD 1000 (4 artists at CAD 250 each); Recognition Grants CAD 1000 (10 artists at CAD 100 each)
- International Group Exhibition: all jury-selected artworks showcased in curated online group exhibition for 3 months
- Solo Exhibitions: up to 10 artists selected for 3-month international smart online solo exhibitions with up to 15 artworks per artist
- Artwork Promotion & Sales: professional artwork pages and artist profiles; artists may choose to list works for sale or participate for exhibition only
- Artsy.net Global Collector Exposure: selected artworks showcased on Artsy, one of the world's largest online art collector communities
- Exhibition Catalogue: all jury-selected artists featured in professionally designed catalogue available online and in print, circulated internationally
- Magazine Publication: up to 10 artists considered for publication in art magazines and books within Biafarin media network
- Honorable Mention: up to 10 artists receive digital certificates and social media recognition
- Professional Recognition: digital achievement certificate, customized exhibition poster, social media carousel features, art media news circulation
Global Promotion
A coordinated international promotion program will support selected artists throughout the exhibition period, including press release distribution, exhibition catalogue circulation, social media features, and platform and newsletter promotions.
