Overview
The 2026 Emerging Artist Distinction recognizes early-career artists demonstrating a clear and developing artistic voice. Selected work is featured as part of the journal's editorial programming and may include curated presentations across the journal's platforms. Submissions are considered across visual and interdisciplinary forms, with particular attention given to work that conveys a defined approach or emerging visual language.
Eligibility
Open to artists of all backgrounds, locations, and experience levels. All mediums are eligible, including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, digital art, installation, performance documentation, film stills, and sculpture.
