Grants for participation at international art fairs (amount varies)

ISGIES provides grants to enhance the participation of Norway-based galleries, independent exhibition spaces, and art book publishers at international art fairs. The scheme aims to stimulate international participation, especially at major art fairs, and increase demand for contemporary visual art from Norway.

ISGIES is funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Culture and Equality with a 2026 annual budget of NOK 4,072,571, divided equally between two semesters.

  • Spring semester (January–June): NOK 0 remaining
  • Autumn semester (July–December): NOK 292,984 remaining

Grants are prioritised according to predefined criteria and distributed throughout the year until the budget is exhausted.

For questions, contact OCA's Grants Officer Anna Moe Jensen.

As of 26 November 2025, applications are submitted via eApply (replacing Stikk.no).
