CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the international exhibition Movements, featuring art that explores movements of nature, bodies, man-made structures, and artistic and social movements. Works may focus on the fluidity of identities, cultural and sociopolitical boundaries, shifting social phenomena, and physical and physiological alterations of the human body.

  • Submission deadline: September 14, 2026
  • Exhibition dates: November 11–29, 2026 (dates subject to change)

  • Video & Interactive Art
  • Physical Works (Painting, Drawing, Print, Sculpture, and Installation Art)
  • Performances
  • 2D works: no larger than 39 inches on the longest side
  • Installation pieces: no larger than 39×39×79 inches (w × l × h)
  • Wall-mounted works: should not exceed 10 kg
  • Selected photography and 2D digital art will be printed in 10×15 or 10×10 inches, framed, and installed by the museum (different sizes available upon request; additional fees may apply)
  • Video and interactive art: projectors and media players provided; multiple single-channel works screened via projector (special requirements and additional fees may apply)
  • Performance works: may be presented in person or as instruction-based submissions
