Overview
Posthumanamente Hablando IV – 2026 invites artists, researchers, and academics to submit emerging artistic and research proposals exploring posthumanist approaches across art, science, technology, and contemporary culture. The fourth edition focuses on the relationship between bodies, artistic practices, and technological systems. Selected participants will present their work during the event in a 15–20 minute presentation format.
Curatorial Lines
- Inteligencias Interferidas: Artistic practices that question and critically examine the use of artificial intelligence within creative processes.
- Materialidades Vibrátiles: Non-human materialities, new ecological perspectives, and artistic approaches moving beyond anthropocentric viewpoints.
- Miradas Expandidas: Multimedia proposals engaging with Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, video games, experimental cinema, and interactive environments.

Eligibility
Open to national artists and researchers from Chile, artists working across different disciplines, academic researchers, independent researchers, emerging and established practitioners, and creative professionals exploring art and technology. No restrictions on age, gender, or artistic career level. Participation from artists and researchers outside Santiago and from different regions of Chile is particularly encouraged.

Awards & Benefits
Selected participants will present their work at the event and participate in discussions around posthumanism, art, and technology. Five accommodation and travel scholarships are available for participants travelling within Chile (only one reserved for participants residing in Santiago). Additional benefits include professional visibility within an academic-artistic context and networking opportunities with professionals working in contemporary art and technology.
