Get The Strategy About The Art Science Fellowship Amsterdam The Emergence Art+Science Fellowships are connected to Emergence at All Scales, a Dutch research consortium that brings together researchers across mathematics, physics, astronomy, chemistry, and related fields. The call asks applicants to propose new works inspired by emergence. The official page frames the central questions around how complexity arises, how simple ingredients or local interactions give rise to structures, patterns, materials, behaviors, and collective life, and how space and time emerged. Selected projects will be developed in dialogue with EAAS researchers and will premiere at the first Emergence Festival in June 2027. The opportunity supports new commissions rather than general research time. Applicants should propose a work that can move from concept into public presentation within the fellowship structure. The call welcomes projects that connect to EAAS research, scientific ideas, methods, data, simulations, concepts, ambitions, or early findings. The final work should function as an artistic public experience for a broad audience. The program offers production support, research dialogue, curatorial guidance, and presentation through the festival context.
