The Fall Magnificent Mile Art Festival 2026 showcases the original art of 60 artists in the plaza and sidewalks of 875 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago's world-renowned upscale shopping district. This free-to-the-public outdoor event is hosted by 875 North Michigan Avenue and The Magnificent Mile Association. The area draws tourists, residents, and professionals daily, with area residents averaging over $790,000 household net worth and 38% holding graduate degrees or higher.

  • Through November 30, 2025: Early Bird Application Promo
  • January 16, 2026: Regular application deadline
  • February 16, 2026: Notifications of festival status posted online
  • February 17, 2026 and thereafter: Late applications accepted
  • March 16, 2026: Registration forms and show fees due (in full or half)
  • March 17, 2026 and thereafter: Late payments apply, $20 per festival
  • April 1, 2026: Last day for refunds (less $50)
  • Late Application Fee: $50
  • Early Bird Late Application Fee: $45

Applications received after January 16 are considered late applications. If no spaces are available when you apply, you will receive a waitlist number based on your jury score. You will be notified of your status within 10 business days after receipt of your late application. If a space becomes available, artists will be invited off the waitlist.

A large multi-layered marketing plan supports the festival with digital and print advertisements, radio, posters, street banners, social media, and direct mail postcards. A professional public relations team ensures high visibility. Load-in is Friday evening and Saturday morning; artists may drive up to a curb lane near the plaza to unload.
