Overview
Roadblocks is an open call exhibition exploring the concept of barriers — both tangible and abstract — that shape our societies and individual lives. Artists are invited to examine how roadblocks are constructed, perceived, and sometimes dismantled through 2D, 3D, and digital artworks.

Eligibility
Open to all artists 18 years and older. International applicants welcome.
Media & submission requirements
- All mediums accepted including videos and installations
- Submit up to 3 works of art (JPEG images, videos, or installation documentation)
- Work must have been completed within the past 5 years
- Work previously shown in any Studio Montclair exhibition will not be accepted
- No giclee reproductions of original art accepted
- JPEG files should be no larger than 2MB with a minimum size of 1600 pixels on the longest side
- Digital images should be cropped to show only artwork; if edges are irregular, photograph against a black background
- Artwork must be available for the duration of the exhibition; no substitutions accepted after selections are finalized
