Overview

The QFA Museum presents the 'Birds of a Fiber 2027' Call for Entries. Each year this exhibition coincides with the masses of migratory birds stopping through the Skagit Valley on their travel north for summer. Spotlighting these species during migration season aims to celebrate the beauty of our local natural environment and the global nature of our winged neighbors.

Key Dates

Submission Deadline: December 8, 2026
Artists will be notified of acceptance: December 17, 2026
Accepted artwork must arrive at the museum: January 6-10, 2027
Exhibition Dates: January 20 - April 24, 2027

Submission Guidelines

Please do not submit art that has been previously displayed at QFA museum.
Each Artist may submit up to two entries.
Entry submissions must be received by December 8, 2026.
The Artist is responsible for both delivery and return shipping costs.
Shipping instructions and Packing Slip/Loan Agreement will be provided with acceptance notification.
