About

Overview

The HOME Exhibition is a juried multimedia showcase presented by the Decatur Arts Alliance in collaboration with the Decatur Land Trust. Professional and student artists of all mediums are invited to submit up to 3 artworks celebrating the theme of homeland and cultural identity.

Theme: Homeland

The 2026 edition explores "homeland" as a geographical point of origin and state of being. Works should express cultural and ethnic elements, addressing how we find home when away from ancestral lands, how newly arrived peoples preserve culture and heritage, and how we honor indigenous inhabitants. Artists are encouraged to explore the diverse ways we experience and define home.
