The annual HCA Members Show brings our creative community together to highlight the incredible talent of our members. Join us in celebrating the artists who make the HCA feel like home. This year, we are honored to announce that Alan and Lorelei Lotvin will serve as our guest jurors, selecting 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners along with three Honorable Mentions. Awards will be announced during the opening reception! Important Dates Submission Deadline: Tuesday, December 15, 2026 at 10:00 PM (Please submit early to avoid system delays on the final day. Late submissions cannot be accepted) Selected Artworks Announced: Friday, December 18, 2026 at 5:00 PM Artwork Drop-Off: Friday, January 8 (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) or Saturday, January 9 (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM) at HCA (98 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton, MA). If shipping artwork, please notify [email protected]. Shipped pieces must arrive by January 8. Opening Reception: Friday, January 15, 2027 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Come have fun on a Friday night at HCA—the new place to be in Hopkinton on Friday! Artwork Pick-Up: Friday, February 5 (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM) or Saturday, February 6 (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM). All work must be picked up on time; HCA cannot store unclaimed artwork. Submission Guidelines & Eligibility Who Can Apply: HCA members of all ages. (Not a member yet? Click here to sign up). Entry Fee: FREE for members! Enter promo code MEMBER at checkout. (Do not enter credit card info; click "Submit Payment Charge"). Submission Limits: Artists may submit up to two entries total, but please submit only one artwork per entry form. Due to gallery space considerations, a maximum of one piece per artist will be selected for display. Eligible Media: Original work in any medium created within the last 5 years that has not been previously shown at HCA. No AI-generated artwork will be accepted. Dimensions: 2D and wall-hung 3D works must not exceed 30 inches in width or protrude more than 10 inches from the wall. Framing & Wiring: All 2D work must be properly framed and securely wired for hanging. HCA reserves the right to decline pieces that are not properly wired. Image Upload Requirements: Crop out the frame so only the artwork is visible, and verify that the orientation is correct. Image files must be at least 960 x 1920 pixels and under 4MB in JPG or PNG format. Writing Your Artwork Description Your description will appear on the gallery wall label so visitors can connect with your piece. Please keep it brief (2 to 3 sentences, under 300 characters) and focus on the story or inspiration behind the piece rather than your technical process. If your work was inspired by another artist, please include a reference credit. Example Artwork Description: Created following a quiet morning in a lush garden, this piece reflects the vibrant colors and surrounding sounds of nature, inviting the viewer to share in that moment of calm and joy. Terms & Liability By submitting, artists acknowledge that HCA is not responsible for damage or loss of artwork before, during, or after the exhibition.
