Overview
The Contemporary Art Galleries Association (AGAC) invites professional curators to submit a group exhibition project for Plural Art Fair 2027. The exhibition will be presented at the entrance of the Grand Quay Pavilion in Montreal's Old Port in a large windowed space of approximately 2,500 square feet bathed in natural light. Plural is an annual fair celebrating contemporary art in Canada and fostering discovery of new voices and forms of expression.

Eligibility
This call is open to all independent curators, emerging or established, based in Canada. Submissions from duos or collectives are accepted. Propositions by candidates who work in a commercial gallery will not be considered.
Project Requirements
- Designated space: approximately 2,500 square feet at the entrance, second level of Grand Quay Pavilion
- Cannot hang works, labels, or signage on pavilion walls
- Majority of works must be free-standing or hung from ceiling due to temporary wall limitations
- All artists must be represented or collaborating with participating fair galleries
Compensation & Support
- Curator fee: $3,500.00 CAD
- CARFAC-RAAV fees for each artist (maximum 12)
- Additional CARFAC-RAAV fee available for curator-led public or programming activities
- Logistical and technical support provided by AGAC
- Professional documentation of the exhibition

- Biography and curatorial approach (maximum 1,500 characters)
- Images and descriptions of curatorial projects, completed or in progress
- Description of exhibition project (maximum 2,500 characters)
- List of prospective artists
