Theme Description
From sweeping elds and quiet back roads to small-town main streets, family farms and generation-old traditions, Rural America represents a landscape that is both physical and cultural. We invite artists to explore the people, places, stories and changing character of rural America. This exhibition seeks work that goes beyond the postcard view to reveal what rural life means today.
Open to Arizona artists, 18 years and older. Accepted mediums: painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, glass, photography, giclées of paintings, ceramic, and sculpture in both traditional approaches and new techniques. Work is selected using a blind jury process.
