Get matched →Pollen welcomes plastic artists of all nationalities, enabling them to realize a specific project or pursue personal research. It serves as a platform for exchange and an experimental space, conducive to the accomplishment and deepening of artistic work. Pollen offers a 'testing ground' and support to nourish artists' work and approach. This unique program views the exhibition at the end of the stay not as an objective, but as a tool. It is an experience enriched by contacts with the inhabitants of Monflanquin, other artists, the public, schoolchildren, and cultural operators.
Two residency periods are offered: mid-February to mid-May, and mid-September to mid-December. This call for applications is for the September to December 2027 period.
The association provides artists with an individual studio and equipped accommodation. A residency and work allowance totaling 3,600 € is disbursed in installments during the stay. The proposed program requires the continuous presence of artists on the residency site for three months. This period cannot be fractional or modular, as it is considered a fundamental element of the program. Each artist can freely develop several projects during the 3-month residency. Limits are set by time, means, and the overall budget available to the artists for the entire program.
