Résidence d’artiste LAB 10+1 2027 – Fondation Renaud

Overview

The Fondation Renaud is launching its call for applications for the LAB 10+1 2027 artistic residency at Fort de Vaise in Lyon. Open to visual artists of all disciplines, the 12-week residency will begin mid-April 2027 around the theme « Entre les mains », dedicated to popular arts, savoir-faire, and cabinets of curiosities. The laureate will receive a grant of 2,200 € TTC, production assistance up to 2,000 € TTC, a workspace, and accommodation. Ten other projects will also be selected for a collective exhibition in autumn 2027.

Theme

The project must be built in relation to the 2027 theme "Entre les mains" and show a genuine interest in the site, its history, and/or the Foundation's collections. The theme is dedicated to popular arts, savoir-faire, and cabinets of curiosities, everyday objects, heritage, and collections, and research and experimentation in contemporary creation.

Residency Details

• Accommodation on site
• Creation and living space of 48 m² + mezzanine of approximately 15 m²
• Access to the documentation center
• Access to the collections and inventories of the Foundation

Awards and Benefits

• Remuneration: 2,200 € TTC (smoothed over three months)
