The Nebraska Wesleyan Art Department invites current students and early career alumni to design and install a mural on the risers of the two upper-level staircases in Lucas Hall. Individuals and teams may apply, and artists may propose to work on one or both staircases.

  • Notification of finalists: October 15, 2026

Applicants must be current students or alumni of Nebraska Wesleyan University.

A selection committee composed of art faculty, an art student, an art alum, an administration representative, and a UNI Creative District representative will review proposals and select three finalists. Finalists will meet with the committee either in person or via Zoom.
