About

Overview

Wavelength is an open call for color-specific artwork exploring the physical spectrum of visible color. This year's exhibition is focused solely on the color yellow. Works do not need to be only yellow but must have a primarily yellow focus. This exhibition will change color each iteration, offering an investigation into how different frequencies can shape human perception and spatial experience.

Artists must be 18+
Must reside in the United States
Artworks must have a strong presence of yellow

Submission deadline: September 7, 2026
Exhibition dates: October 22 – November 15, 2026
Artwork delivery deadline: October 11, 2026

Fees & sales

Entry fee: $12 per entry
Sales commission: 35% of artwork sales

Delivery & installation

Hand delivery: Thursday 10am–8pm, Friday & Saturday 10am–6pm, Sunday 12–5pm (schedule with Exhibition Coordinator)
Shipping: Via UPS or FedEx with return shipping label; no glass (plexiglass only); no crates or styrofoam peanuts; artist covers shipping costs and damage liability

Requirements if accepted

Traditionally framed artwork must be ready to hang with wire. Framing is not required. Artwork will be insured during exhibition at Artlink. Artlink is not liable for damage or loss in transit to and from the gallery. Any damage caused by improper preparation by the artist will not be covered by Artlink.
