Overview
The Federal Ministry of the Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport, in cooperation with the Climate and Energy Fund, provides financial support for climate-friendly and energy-efficient investments in cultural businesses. The fund is part of Austria's development and resilience plan, financed by the European Union's Resilience and Recovery Fund.
Eligible Investments
- Climate-friendly heating, ventilation and cooling
- Utilisation of renewable sources of energy
- Energy-efficient indoor and outdoor lighting systems
- Thermal insulation of buildings
- Measures to reduce the use of natural resources and cut CO2 emissions

Open to all companies from the arts and culture sector that are based in Austria.

- 1st tender: 10.10.2022 – 15.03.2023
- 2nd tender: 16.03.2023 – 29.09.2023
How to Apply
Applications are submitted online at kultur.klimafonds.gv.at. The online application form is available on the website Meine Förderung. Formal requirements are examined by KPC (Kommunalkredit Public Consulting); applications are evaluated by an advisory council chaired by BMKÖS.
