About
Overview
Headwaters Arts invites emerging, mid-career, and established artists to apply to the 30th Annual Open Juried Fall Festival Art Show and Sale. Open to all Ontario artists working in any media. We are looking for your best new work created between 2024 and present day.

- Submission Deadline: August 10, 2026 at midnight
- Notice of Acceptance: August 21, 2026
- Festival Dates: September 16 – October 4, 2026
- Opening Soiree: Thursday, September 17, 2026
Eligibility
- Open to all Ontario artists
- Emerging, mid-career, and established artists welcome
- Students welcome (no work from classes or instructional teaching)
- Artwork must not have been entered into any previous Headwaters Arts shows
Media accepted
Any media including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, mixed media, fibre arts, jewellery, glass, pottery, wood or others.
Submissions
- Submit up to three submissions per artist
- Artwork must be new work (2024 to present day)
- All entries will be juried; juror decisions are final
Fees
- Members: $40.00 + HST = $45.20 for one piece; additional pieces $20.00
- Non-members: $55.00 + HST = $62.15 for one piece; additional pieces $25.00
- Fee is non-refundable
Awards
Over $2,000 will be awarded as artists prizes.
Sales & commission
Headwaters Arts will receive 35% commission on all sales.
