Studio Voltaire offers a fully funded twelve-week residency for emerging or mid-career visual artists from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay. The residency includes 24-hour access to a private live/work studio within a community of 55 artists, a weekly stipend of £300 for living expenses, budgets for materials and research, funds for public events and access needs, and all travel and visa costs covered.

  • Visual artists based in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, or Paraguay
  • Emerging or mid-career with at least three years of professional practice after completing education
  • Not currently enrolled in BA or MA programme
  • Professional record of solo or group exhibitions, public projects, residencies, or publications
