Call: Project Pitch Session – Transnational Ensemble Collaborations

Overview

Ensembles, collectives, artists, and curators are invited to present projects at the Time to Listen conference that explore creative forms of transnational collaboration in the independent music scene. Projects may include sustainable, solidarity-based, or experimental forms of cooperation. Projects at different stages of development are welcome, from initial ideas to implemented projects (whether successful or unsuccessful).

What We're Looking For

Approaches that go beyond conventional international co-production models and experiment with new ways of exchanging, producing together, and sharing resources. Of particular interest are approaches that enable long-term collaboration, share knowledge and responsibility, and respond to current ecological, political, and financial challenges. Proposals should open up new perspectives on collaboration across borders and contexts.

Presentation Format

Selected contributions will be presented in short project pitches (approximately 5–10 minutes), followed by a joint discussion. The session aims to provide insights into practices, challenges, and conditions for successful transnational collaboration, and to initiate potential new collaborations.

Compensation

A fee of €100 gross will be paid for the project presentation. Travel and accommodation costs cannot be covered.
