The Burning Phone Tour seeks venues, arts organisations, producers and landowners to host a large-scale outdoor art event in late September 2026. A ten-foot sculptural mobile phone will be raised and burned in a professionally managed performance combining art, protest, spoken word, music and film. The project is fully funded, and the organiser's team will manage all production, permissions, insurance, risk assessments and fire safety.

UK-based venues, arts organisations, producers, councils, landowners and cultural partners with access to a suitable outdoor site. Applicants should own, manage or have a direct relationship with the proposed location. Individual artists may apply where they can introduce an appropriate site. There are no age or nationality restrictions, but the location must be in the UK.

Selected partners will host a fully funded touring artwork and become part of the launch of the wider OFFLINE movement. Partners will receive project credit, professional filmed and photographic documentation, inclusion in publicity, and an opportunity to engage local audiences. Any venue or location costs will be agreed before confirmation.

  • Deadline: 20 August 2026
